Mari Boine Olsen (born 8 November 1956) is a Norwegian Sami musician .
« Come with Me to the Sacred Mountain » is a dream of freedom from Western civilizations oppression of minorities. Mari Boine portrays a woman who tries to escape from the darkness, the bleak conditions of the Sami people after the Norwegian colonization.
But it could be the story of many peoples.
